Nice ‘n’ Spice fries/wedges

I can’t make SW chips without using a small amount of oil I just can’t! Obviously, you can replace the oil with low-calorie spray but the oil gets really up to temperature letting the potato really crisp up!

Serves 1

1 large potato (I leave the skin on but give it a wash/rinse)

1/2 tsp paprika, garlic granules and vegetable oil.

1/4 tsp salt and cayenne pepper/chilli powder.

  1. Preheat your oven to 250C.
  2. Cut the potato into wedges/fries and rinse them under water then pat them dry.
  3. Coat the fries in the oil and seasonings and place them on a tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Flip the fries and leave for a further 20 minutes (or until lightly golden and crisp).

That is it, simple, utterly delicious and 1 syn for a large potato (which could probably actually serve 2 people!!)

Calories for a 400g potato (which can EASILY serve 2) 395 calories.
