If you have a friend coming over or are in need of a sweet fix this tart can make 8-10 servings at only *262 calories, 22g fat, 8.9 g carb and 6.7g protein (if split into 8) It is creamy and vanilla sweet and goes well with a couple of raspberries or strawberries.
You will need one portion of my keto pastry, blind baked till lightly golden (at 180oC)
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp xylitol, erythritol or other natural granulated sweeteners,
4 tbsp cream cheese, whole milk, double cream and
2 tbsp of water
- Blend everything well and pour into the pastry dish (or you could bake like a custard or heat until thickened) and bake at 200oC for 15 minutes.
- Turn the oven down to 150oC and bake for a further 30 minutes or until the custard has set.
- Turn off the oven and leave the door ajar for an hour before moving to chill in the fridge.
For 10 slices: 217 calories, 23g, 6.8g protein & 8.5g carbs
