Special fried rice 

This isn’t exactly like fried rice but it’s s good alternative especially if you’re on a ketogenic diet!

Serves 2 as a side dish 

200g grated cauliflower (10g but many people eat freely)

1 tbsp soy sauce (0.8)

1 grated clove garlic (3G)

1 tsp grated Ginger (0.4)

2 rashers streaky unsmoked bacon (sliced thinly)

1 large Spring Onion finely sliced (1.8g)

50g prawns

1/2 tsp 5spice 

2 tsp sesame oil

1. Heat a pan over high heat and add your bacon.

2.meanwhile in a microwave safe bowl add your grated cauliflower, a splash of water, cover with cling film and microwave for 3 minutes.

3. Add your 5 spice, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, prawns and whites of the onion and stir fry for 30 seconds.

4. Add your cauliflower, soy sauce, sprinkle of salt and pepper and stir fry for 3-5 minutes or until starting to crisp up.

Top with the green parts of the Spring Onion.

This would be 7.1g net carbs per portion & really you can’t go wrong with this recipe especially if you’re craving Chinese.
