Plain/vegetable chow mein

My boyfriend and I were hoping to go to a Thai place for lunch today but things get in the way and I also want to stick to my slimming world plan so I’ve saved my syns and I’m doing us a fakeaway with ginger and Spring Onion chicken and veggie chow mein along with a live video! 

2-4 people

200g cooked and cooled egg noodles 

1 tsp sesame oil or stir fry oil (check for syns)

1 large onion in 2 cm slices

100g bean sprouts

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 grated garlic clove

1 small green pepper finely sliced

1. Get a pan very hot add the onion and green pepper and stir fry for 2 minutes.

2. Meanwhile coat the noodles with the oil and add the garlic and bean sprouts and stir fry for another few minutes.

3. Add the noodles and stir fry for 5-8 minutes or until the noodles start to crisp up.

I’m having this as part of a Chinese feast with my egg fried rice, Ginger and Spring Onion chicken and a Spring roll. I hope you guys give this a try don’t forget to check out my Facebook and my live videos and recipe updates!
