One pot: Bolognese pasta

This again is for one person, a busy mum? a student quick meal? This is a comfort bowl all made in one pot!

100g mince (i use frozen 5% beef mince as I can get as much as I want out when I want)

1 tsp garlic Italian seasoning (by Schwartz)

1 small onion (finely diced)

1 grated carrot

100g pasta

200ml passata

1 beef stock cube, salt and pepper

  1. in a pot fry off the beef and onion with a pinch of salt and pepper until the onion is slightly soft.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and top up with water until it just slightly covers the pasta.
  3. Boil until most of the liquid is absorbed, taste and season for salt and pepper.

Serve on its own or with a generous amount of cheese.
