There is always something comforting about a low syn dessert. And at only 4 syns per serving (if you use the bread for your HEB) you can’t go wrong!
2 slices wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp golden syrup (2.5 syns you can always replace this with sweetener)
1. Whisk the egg in a bowl with a pinch of salt and a splash of water and leave for a couple of minutes.
2. Meanwhile in a pan add a splash of water and the apple and simmer for a couple of minutes then add the cinnamon and golden syrup and leave to bubble.
3. Coat the bread in the egg mix and pan fry on a high heat until golden brown.
4. Place the eggy bread on a plate and pour over the cinnamon apple mix.
This really helps curb the sweet cravings.
