Chicken shawarma

I thought I’d bring some warming food to my blog. This is my version of Nando’s and is so easy to make!

1 large red pepper in bite size pieces,

1 large onion in bite size pieces,

2 large chicken breasts in small bite size pieces,

1 large clove of garlic,

1 tsp each olive oil (2syns), cumin, smoked paprika, ground coriander and black pepper,

Generous pinch salt and small pinch all spice,

Juice of half a lemon.

1. Mix together everything apart from the peppers and onion.

2. Soak some bamboo skewers in warm water while the chicken marinades. 

3. Preheat the grill and skewer the chicken alternating with the onion and red pepper.

4. Grill for 15 minutes on the highest grill setting turning every 5 minutes.

I hope you guys give this a try as it really is a 15 minute meal!
