Crab: 2 ways

So I am back after a week off for my 21st birthday! Going through the freezer I found my crab claws (that you get in frozen packets in supermarkets). I thought it would be a good time to share my crab 2 ways. But do not fear if you cannot find crab claws i adapted my recipe so you can use the tinned white crab meat (unless of course you can get the fresh stuff!). Without further ado, my crab 2 ways!

Lemon and garlic crab: This is delicious on its own, on melba toasts, through freshly cooked linguine/spaghetti or even in lettuce boats.

150g white crab meat (1 tin or get it from your fishmonger fresh! watch out for any stray shell),

Juice from half a lemon

1 tbsp butter

1/2 grated small clove of garlic

pinch of salt and a generous pinch black pepper

1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

  1. Melt the butter in a microwavable cup in the microwave with the garlic.
  2. Once full melted, stir in the salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley.
  3. Mix the sauce through the crab and serve! (how easy was that one?!)

My second crab dish is my sweet chilli crab all you need is 150g crab, 2 tablespoons of my ginger sweet chilli dressing (under sides) mix it through and you are ready to serve with lettuce wraps, through rice noodles or even with prawn crackers instead of melba toast. Zingy and full of flavour. (sweet chilli, ginger, and soy sauce) a 4 ingredient meal!

These are a brilliant share dish if you have dinner party guest or a good starter even! I hope you enjoy and give it a try, feel free to follow me or give me a thumbs up! Show me your support as its greatly appreciated!
